Based on a video posted by Slashleaks on their Youtube Channel, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 does indeed come with a large 6.9-inch display as well as an equally large 5500mAh non-removable battery. The design of the phone features a minimalistic front display which houses the speaker grill, front facing selfie camera and proximity sensor at the top and a chin with no home button at the bottom. At the rear of the device you can see the dual 12MP+5MP camera for this variant as well as a fingerprint sensor towards the middle.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has been listed on TENAA showcasing several information of the device mentioned. Starting with the technical specifications of the phone based on the TENAA listing, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset, either 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, 12MP rear camera setup, 8MP front facing selfie camera, 6.9-inch display with a screen aspect ratio of 18:9, and it is powered by a HUGE 5400mAh non-removable battery.

Recently GizmoChina reported about renders and tech specs of the rumoured Xiaomi Mi Max 3, which could see a massive 6.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display in a compact metal body. Other features include a rumoured Qualcomm Snapdragon 635 processor, 4GB / 6GB RAM, 64GB / 128GB storage, rear fingerprint sensor, just a single 12MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and 5500 mAh battery.

The 6.44-inch display Xiaomi Mi Max will soon be available in Malaysia with the official release date being tomorrow on 3 September 2016 for RM999. Compatible with both YES and Celcom networks, bundle plans should be announced shortly but you can also get the Mi Max from Lazada and stores serviced by their official distributor Thorus.

We have seen Xiaomi launched several new devices in the past several months, and thanks to our friends at Lowyat, it seems that two of the said devices, the Xiaomi Mi Max and the Xiaomi Redmi 3 will be heading to Malaysia pretty soon.

The Maxis ONEplan aims to offer a simple to understand and follow post-paid plan for new and existing Maxis users. Seeking to maintain this simplicity with their device bundles, Maxis have set the advance payment of a device retailing above RM400 to four months charge of either the ONEplan or ONEplan Lite while a device retailing below RM400 is only charged two months of either the ONEplan or ONEplan Lite plans. All advance payments are rebated into the customer's bills and loyal customers with more than 12 months on Maxis and who have a good credit record won't have to make these advance payments. So far, the device list includes the HTC One (M8), Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia Z2, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, HTC One (M7), Sony Xperia M2, Samsung Galaxy Ace 3, Huawei Ascend Y530 and the Xiaomi Mi 3.
